2008 Pre-Christmas Breakfast

This year, Nolan got to take part in his first (of many, many, many) official pre-Christmas breakfasts at the DeWitt Goudelocke's. Those of you who have ever tasted Brianne's cooking can understand that we literally start salivating for this breakfast on January 1st, and don't stop until it's next Christmas time.



As you can see, Brianne's description of the menu had dreams of Biscuits 'n Gravy dancing in little Nolan's head.





Just imagine. For Nolan, what could be better? He gets to see his Uncle Bryan and Aunt Brianne ... plus his Aunt Lauren and Uncle Joey ... in one trip!







He was just soaking in the love!







But still, he couldn't help gazing longingly at Brianne in the kitchen...







And here I'm actually dangling a homemade cinnamon role off camera...







So you can imagine his response when he found out that he was not going to be sitting at the table ... but instead eating baby food and milk...







Yeah. Not his happiest moment.



So we tried to distract him with gifts...







And Aunt Lauren even had him pretend to be Rambo ... in the Christmas spirit, of course...







And eventually, he couldn't help but be enveloped in the holiday season...



...we all were!







He's already started dreaming about next Christmas ... when he has teeth!




We can't wait either!
