The broheem and the Muller/Mueller grandparents come to visit!

Nolan got to meet his Uncle Chad (or, as we like to refer to him, "Crazy Uncle Chad the Tattooed Guy") a few weeks ago. After getting off work late on a Saturday, Chad took the redeye to make it to San Diego by Sunday morning. He then even missed a day of work to hang out with the little dude (they had to close down the restaurant without him!). Here are a couple of our favorite shots of Nolan and the Tattooed Wonder...

This kid will put anything in his mouth!

In this next one, you can even see Chad's newest Tattoo, commemorating Nolan's birth. It reads "VI XIV VIII N" (standing for 6-14-08 - Nolan). With any luck, Nolan will have company on Chad's wrist over the next few years...

Here's a shot of the fam taking a break at La Jolla, including Chad in all his inked-glory...

Nolan loved the time he got to spend with his Grandpa Jack (or "Jackpa," as my ever-dorky father has insisted that he be called)...

Here you can see the genetic origin of the open-mouthed-gape that Nolan is often caught sporting.

Clearly, both grandfather and grandson were in heaven...

Nolan also enjoyed the time he got to spend playing with his Grandma Char. Revealing her sense of dignity, she (thankfully) has broken from the family tradition and has not demanded to be called by an embarrassing pseudonym.

Nolan soaked up every minute of grandparental attention that Jackpa and Grandma Char gave him...

He also had his first lesson in the patented Mueller crooked-lip face ... he'll likely be perfecting that one for years to come...

Ultimately, this kid appeared to love the time spent with his uncle and grandparents. We can't wait to see them all again at Christmas!
