Nana Mel visits again.

Nolan lucked out again on August 23rd. After the first full week of Point Loma classes, his parents were exhausted. So Nana Mel volunteered to stop by to provide some much-needed babysitting while we caught up on some class preparation.

Initially, Nolan showed Nana Mel his more innocent side. "See, I just hang out like this all the time. I'm wonderful and peaceful every moment of the day." But, dear reader, please note the oddly hostile gesture that may be foreshadowing things to come...


Nevertheless, given this contented mood, we thought we'd try a little tummy time, and give Nolan a chance to exercise that neck of his. Things started out well...




But quickly deteriorated...


Luckily, using her magical grandmother powers, Nana Mel was able to lure him back from the land of the insanely angry, and even got him to babble a little...


What would we do without her?
