Catch up...

Well, as you may have gathered from the ridiculously sharp drop-off in posts, Ross is now officially back at work everyday, and Kendra is teaching on Tuesdays and Thursdays. But we'll try to do a little catch-up...

The big event was Kendra's 30th birthday on August 2nd. A group of us celebrated with a trip to the beach/park.

While some used it as a chance to increase bonding with little Nolan...




Others used the time to demonstrate their masculinity by releasing some repressed aggression through dangerous paddle games...


Clearly Nolan was unimpressed...


Overall, though, the day was wonderful, and we enjoyed the willingness of our Pasadena friends to make the trek down to San Diego once again.
